Battle for the Colony

Points 

‍

An ant’s points are based on the rarity of its traits. 

• Traits were randomly assigned and distributed when the collection was generated on the blockchain.
• Each trait has a point value based on its rarity within the collection using the following formula:
  (1 - r) * 10, where r = the rarity % of a trait (see example below)
• An ant’s “Total Points” is the sum of all of its traits’ point values.
• Ants have 5 - 10 traits, giving more points to ants having more traits.
• Elite traits have significantly higher points due to the rarity of these unique ants and trait pairings. See table below.

Example: There are 157 ants within the collection that have the Eye trait of Chroma-Charms. 

• There are 5,555 ants in the collection, so only 2.82% (0.00282) of all ants have this trait.

To determine the points value of the Chroma-Charms trait, we use the following formula (1 - 0.00282) * 10= .997 * 10= 9.97 points for this trait

Gangs

• Each ant belongs to one of 11 gangs, with each gang having 555 ants.
• When participants register for a battle by connecting their wallet to the Battle Portal, all of the points from the ants they own will contribute to their respective gang’s “Gang Points.”
• Once the registration window closes for a battle, each gang’s Gang Points will determine the probability of that gang winning.

‍As a made up example using just two gangs:

• the Gang Power for the Bushido gang, combining all registered wallets is 873
• the Gang Power for the Ronin gang, combining all registered wallets is 617
• This make the total power for the battle 1,490 (873 + 617)some text
  • This gives the Bushido gang a 58.6% chance of winning (873 / 1,490)
  • This gives the Roning gang a 41.4% chance of winning (617 / 1,490)
• The probability of each gang’s chance of winning will be fed to an AI LLM, which will then return a story of the battle and determine the winner amongst all of the gangs.

Prizes

If you own an ant from the winning gang, you will be rewarded based on your wallet’s contribution to the total Gang Points for that battle.

‍

For example, in the above battle, the Bushido had a Gang Power of 873. If the Bushido ants in your wallet were responsible for contributing 133 points towards that total, then you would receive 15.2% (133 / 873) of the reward pool for that battle.

TL:DR The more gangs in your wallet, the higher your chance of winning. The more your wallet contributes to the winning gang’s Gang Points for each battle, the higher your rewards.

Seasons

‍

Battles will run for limited periods called Seasons. Each Season the criteria for how battles are held will change. This allows for experimentation and offering creative ways to reward holders. For example, one season may have gangs face off head-to-head in a single elimination style tournament. Another season may give bonus points based on other NFT projects that are held in the same wallet as your Rebel Ants.
